Totok Suprayitno PhD is the Senior Secondary Education Project Manager. He is a statistics graduate from the Bogor Institute of Agriculture (1980 - 1985). He completed his PhD at the University of Illinois (1987 - 1992). Before his appointment to the SSEP he was employed by the Ministry of Education and Culture Research and Development Office (1986 - 1993).

Drs. Achmad Riyanto, MED. joined the project in September 1997. He is the SSEP Package 2 Team Leader and he was initially appointed to develop the Model Secondary School Development component. He is widely experienced in the secondary education sector and has held the positions of Deputy Director of Junior Secondary Education (9 years) and Deputy Director of Senior Secondary Education (5 years). He is currently Head of the Distance Education Center for Teacher In-service Training in Bandung.

Dr. Rodney (Rod) Allen joined the project in January 1998. He was appointed to review the teacher training programs in the PPPG IPS (Social Science) in Malang.

Dr. Mark Peach also joined the project in January 1998. He was appointed to review the teacher training programs in the PPPG Bahasa (Language) in Jakarta.

Dr. Jack Brennan also joined the project in January 1998. He was appointed to review the teacher training programs in the PPPG IPA (Science) in Bandung.

Dr. Vincent (Vince) Costa joined the project in January 1998. He was appointed to review academic supervision management systems. He has since assumed the position of Co-Team Leader and is currently engaged on the School Development Model component

Phillip Rekdale joined the project in January 1998. He was originally appointed to review and revise the current language laboratory model and is now engaged in the School Development Model component.

Dr. Joel Burdin joined the project in January 1999. He was appointed to review and address the problems associated with teacher mismatch in the secondary education sector.

Muchlas Samani is a professor of education at IKIP Surabaya. He joined the SSEP in May 1997 as a school management specialist as well as team leader of Package 3 (Institutional Development). His fields of interest are vocational education, educational planning and management, and educational evaluation.

Dr. Mal Turaga joined the project in mid 1997. He contributed greatly to the production of the Package 3 preventative maintenance manuals and training programs. He returned to Canada in June, 1998 after one year on the project - Bye Mal!

|
Pak Ivan was Mal Turaga's counterpart and colleague in Package 3. He is still continuing the work and there has been a lot of progress, particularly in the areas of preventative maintenance management and training.
